What is included in the free review?

A free 15-minute conversation by phone or remotely about your technology concerns and useful next steps. We explain any recommended paid help before you decide.

Can I call about a suspicious message?

Yes. With our Scam Check Service, you can call before clicking a suspicious link. We’ll help you review the message, understand warning signs, and discuss a sensible next step. Response timing depends on availability; confirm support hours with Matthew. While you wait, leave the link unopened and avoid sharing personal information.

Do I need to know the technical terms?

No. Start by explaining what you are trying to do or what is worrying you. We’ll ask questions and explain the options in plain language.

Costs & ongoing support

What does technology support cost?

The scope and cost depend on the help you need. We’ll discuss your devices and priorities and explain any recommended paid service before you decide.

Cybersecurity Checkups are available annually or twice a year. They include:

  • Password review
  • Account security review
  • Multi-factor authentication setup

We’ll tailor the checkup to your devices, accounts, comfort level, and priorities, and explain the scope, schedule, and cost before you decide. Cybersecurity Checkups are priced separately and are not included automatically in Scam Check Support.

Do you offer monthly support?

Yes. Scam Check Support is $99/month for an individual or up to three named family members. It provides second opinions about suspicious messages, calls, and online offers.

  • Phone and email contact during business hours.
  • Help understanding warning signs and deciding how to verify a request.
  • Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m. Eastern. Messages accepted anytime.

Before starting, confirm response expectations, contact arrangements, and renewal/cancellation terms with Matthew. Longer coaching, repairs, account recovery, and other technology work are discussed and priced separately.

What do the virtual coaching programs cost?

Scam Safety Coaching is $499 and Safety Plus is $749, each a one-time price for one participant or a family group of up to three. Extended Support has custom pricing after a consultation. Compare the program inclusions.

Can I attend on my own, or join from another household?

Yes. Individuals are welcome, and standard coaching programs include up to three family members who can join virtually from different households. Coaching includes three 90-minute sessions over 1–2 weeks, with guided practice and reference materials.

How is included email follow-up different from monthly support?

The coaching programs include 30 days of email follow-up for questions about the training. The optional $99/month Scam Check Support plan covers ongoing second opinions about suspicious messages and offers. They are separate services; ask Matthew about what fits your needs.

Does the free review include a monthly plan?

The free review is a 15-minute conversation. It does not include a coaching package or monthly subscription. Confirm the support scope, response expectations, and renewal/cancellation terms with Matthew before starting a paid plan.

Support at your pace

Comfort & safety

Can a family member join?

Yes. Adult children can ask about help for a parent, and a family member can join with the person’s permission. We keep the person using the devices involved in decisions and agree on what information may be shared.

Can you explain the steps again?

Yes. We’ll work through the steps with you, make time for questions, and give you a chance to practice at a comfortable pace.

How do I check availability or help in my area?

Contact Matthew to discuss your location, devices, and the kind of help you need. We’ll confirm the available options and explain any costs before you decide.

Should I send you my password?

Please do not email passwords, sign-in codes, or sensitive account information. We can discuss any account-access needs when we talk.

Can you prevent every scam or identity theft?

No service can prevent every scam or identity theft. We offer practical guidance to help you recognize warning signs, safeguard personal information, and strengthen everyday account security. This is guidance and account-security support; credit monitoring and identity-theft insurance are not included.
